Client Request: Level the entire main floor and work with an architect and builder to create a home that reflects their personal style.

Client Requirements: 

• Remove all the cumbersome decorative columns 
• Modernize the kitchen
• Rework the master bathroom layout to include two person steam shower 
• Transform the main floor guest room into a home office and powder room 
• Design a new fireplace to accommodate homeowners art collection 
• Invest in premium lighting features to uplift the room’s aesthetic

Our Approach: 

This gorgeous home, nestled in the mountains, had a lot of dated 1990s decor elements that did not match my client’s personal style, so they decided to remodel the entire main floor. They were seeking an open floor plan so we removed all of the decorative columns. 

We ditched the oak cabinetry and replaced it with contemporary, metallic slab-front drawers and door fronts. We included a dramatic quartz waterfall feature and lit glass front cabinets to bring harmony in the open concept great room. 

The tired, faux-finished art niches had to go, replaced with directional lighting to display their growing art collection. 

We even decked out their powder room, with unique hand-painted cork wallpaper, glass countertops, and sculptural lighting. No details were overlooked.
